This classic Christmas stocking was inspired by the abundant evergreens of the Adirondack Mountains. It is a great way to learn two hand/two color stranded knitting in the Fair Isle Style. The cuff includes a simple panel in which a name and/or date may be added with duplicate stitch. The stocking is done in the round with both circular and double pointed needles. This is also a great way to learn to knit a sock.

Students should have some experience knitting in the round. You will learn to use both hands and both American and Continental style knitting to create the color work. You will also learn duplicate stitch.

This will be a 2-part class. The second session will be November 11, 6:00 - 8:00 pm. The cost includes both sessions.

We do not require that you purchase the yarn for this class from our shop. However, to keep the cost of classes low, we would appreciate it if you would.
