The thought of cutting your knitting strikes fear in the hearts of many knitters. Knitting in the round with addition of a “steek” and then cutting is the best way to work stranded colorwork such as Fair Isle. Knitting in the round with two hands helps keep tension even when doing colorwork. To turn this “tube” into a sweater means cutting for sleeves, necks, and button bands (in the case of a cardigan). This coffee cozy is a small project in which you can learn both two handed colorwork and the steeking technique. It is divided into two sessions.
Those who have already mastered two handed colorwork are welcome to come to only the second session where we cut and finish. The second session is 3 hours.
Cost is as follows: Session 1: $20; Session 2: $30; Both for $45
