Knit to Fit {Part 1}

Instructor - Carol Puntel

Frustrated when you make what you hope will be a wonderful sweater and it doesn’t fit correctly? Not sure how to judge how the pattern in the picture will likely look on you? Unclear about making good yarn substitutions? This 2-part class is for YOU!

In the first class we will learn about what critical measurements we need and how to take them. You will leave with your own personal template of measurements. We will also talk about yarn substitutions and making a good swatch. We will also discuss ease and how that impacts garment fit.

In the second class we will use the swatch and pattern schematic to choose the best size to knit and make adaptations as necessary.

Please wear a fairly close-fitting tee shirt or tank to class. We will be taking measurements!

You should have basic knitting skills, be able to read a pattern, and be confident enough to want to knit your first sweater.

Cost - $40
