Zimmermann’s classic circular shawl is a marvelous opportunity to design just what you want. The class will use Elizabeth’s understanding of the geometry of a circle and apply that to each student’s choice of yarn (fingering through light worsted) to make their choice of soft shawl or cozy circular afghan. Students may elect to incorporate colors through stripes or gradations, or may add in a lace pattern or two.  A great opportunity to explore modifying a basic pattern with your design elements….It will be your own homemade Pi!  Instructor will be happy to consult on yarn choice the evening of Sept 13th, after the  presentation on Elizabeth Zimmermann.

This is a two-part class.   The first class takes place on September 17, 2018.
