The key difference between a garment looks “handmade” rather than “homemade is the finishing.  After spending many hours with the knitting (and not a little bit of money on the yarn), it is important to know how to seam the pieces to finish things off well.  Seaming is NOT difficult.  As with anything else it takes a little practice and that is what we will do in this class.  You will learn how to make vertical and horizontal seams in both garter and stockinette stitch.  You will learn how to seam a vertical piece to a horizontal piece.  We will also talk about some special seaming technique and discuss other aspects of finishing.
