Adirondack Winter Lace Scarf - Part 1

Instructor - Carol Puntel

The lace pattern of evergreens and snowflakes make this a perfect Adirondack Winter Scarf.  This is a great project for first time lace knitters and those with a bit more experience also.  We will learn the basic skills for lace knitting:  yarnovers, slanted decreases, and chart reading.  We will also learn how to do a provisional cast on.  The scarf is worked in two halves and joined with an invisible graft. In the second class, we will learn grafting and how to do a picot bind-off with optional beads.  There will be plenty of time between classes to complete the two halves of the scarf.  This is part one of a two-part class.
