Shell Shawl - Part 1

Instructor - Carol Puntel

This is a perfect project for multiple yarns and is a great stash buster. It is a wonderful use for multiple textures and colors. Best of all, it can be made in any weight yarn.(the sample is made of fingering and sock yarn).  We’re going to try something new and have a yarn swap as part of the fun.  In the class you will learn how to make two different shells.  One is based in lace, and the other has a slip stitch pattern.  We will then use modular knitting techniques to connect the shells and grow the shawl to the size you desire.  This is part one of a two-part class that continues on February 6, 6-8 pm.
